Recently, a container train fully loaded with accessories departed from Putian Railway Station of CR-Zhengzhou. The cargo will be transported by rail directly to Tianjin Xingang North Container Center Station, where it will seamlessly connect with sea shipping, and finally arrive in Tanzania. This is the first "rail-sea direct transport" train from Zhengzhou to Tianjin. Its launch marks the successful opening of the fourth "rail-sea direct transport" route, following Zhengzhou to Qingdao port, Ningbo port and Lianyungang port.

　　The "rail-sea direct transport" train is an innovative logistics product developed by the railway sector. Through deep integration and information sharing between railway ports and sea ports, it enables automated customs transfer and seamless clearance for export cargo. Compared with traditional rail-sea intermodal transport, the product shortens the average transportation time by 1 to 2 days, and reduces single-container logistics costs by about 15 percent, providing foreign trade enterprises with a more efficient and economical international logistics solution.

　　At the same time, the railway sector has set up a dedicated "rail-sea direct transport" service window to guide enterprises in adopting convenient customs clearance models such as "pre-declaration" and "arrival at terminal." It helps enterprises complete customs clearance, inspection and other related procedures at the place of departure, promptly resolving issues encountered during the logistics process and ensuring the smooth opening of the new route.
