From January to August this year, railway construction advanced with high quality and efficiency. National railway fixed asset investment reached 504.1 billion yuan, an increase of 5.6 percent year-on-year. This effectively boosted overall social investment, injected new momentum into expanding domestic demand in all aspects, and promoted the sustained recovery and positive development of China's economy.
